11. First Umami seminar of 50 Executive Chefs nationwide
  Ajinomoto Co. (Thailand) Ltd. led by Mr. Masato Kohtani; Director and Thai Chef Association led by Chef Jamnong Nirangsan; Chairman jointly hosted the exclusive seminar for 50 Executive Chefs from renown hotels nationwide. We can say that it is the first time of gathering as many Executive chefs in the seminar like this. The seminar has been organized in order to educate Umami and Glutamate knowledge under the concept of “Umami!  Flavoring Experience The Professional” on 29 - 30 November 2010 at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel.We were honored by Mr. Eugene Imm; a representative of Umami Information Center (UIC), Japan to be our special guest speaker. Moreover, all chefs had a chance to visit Nhong Kae factory to see production process of “Ros Dee” product before ending this seminar. Not only the seminar and activities that impressed chefs, but also the new knowledge and friendship they have got.             All chefs backed home and will apply the Umami knowledge to create Thai Umami recipe with their own style to be gathered for production of the first Umami cookbook in Thailand for further perusal in Food and Nutrition related fields. ...
12. AJINOMOTO® brings Thai youth to AFF Suzuki Cup 2014
  Recently, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. brought 30 selected students from Youth House Maharat Foundation to cheer Thailand National football team in “AFF Suzuki cup 2014”, the Asean Football Championship at Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok. Ajinomoto Co., Inc., Japan is a co-sponsor of this tournament. The purpose of this activity is to promote an experience in the important activity of the nation and inspire these students to have passion in sport, so that they would grow up as a good workforce in the future....
13. Ajinomoto® Foster Spirit to “Global Clean up Day” for the 8 Consecutive Years.
  Recently, Mr.Etsuhiro Takato (4th from right), President of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. along with other top managements and employees participated in simultaneous “Global Clean up Day” activity, which is one part of “Smile Earth” campaign,  held for the 8 consecutive years.  All participants altogether cleaned up the area of Burachat Chaiyakorn hospital, State Railway of Thailand. The activity was also tremendously supported by Bangkok Mass Transit Authority for free round trip shuttle bus service. 14. The 5th “Umami Camp” for Food Science Students to continue educating “Umami” knowledge to Thai youths.
  Recently, Mr. Suchart Narksavaek (middle), Managing Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., honorably hosted the 5th “Umami Camp” at Rabiangprai Valley Resort, Nakhon Nayok province. This activity aims to provide the knowledge of glutamate and umami taste to lecturers and food science students nationwide. Dr.Kanchana Mahattanatawee (4th from right), Dean, Faculty of Science, Siam University and 94 professors and students of Food Science from 10 leading Universities of Thailand participated in the activity. 15. "OBEC" hands AJINOMOTO to select the needy 10 schools nationwide
  Dr. Chinnapat  Bhumirat, Secretary-General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) received the donation fund at amount of 5,000,000 Baht (Five Million Baht) from Ajinomoto Foundation led by Mr. Sonthi Ampaichitt, Vice Chairman,  together with Dr.Arun Predeedilok, Director and Mr.Masato Kohtani, Director and Secretary. The donation budget will be allocated for canteen constructions of the first 10 schools in rural areas nationwide to pursue the project entitled “50 Years 50 Schools” which is the project in celebrating 50th Anniversary of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd.  The project will be running for 5 years under the total budget of 25 Million Baht.The ceremony was held recently at the OBEC’s Conference Room with 10 directors of the selected schools participating in the ceremony. ...

20. “Building Camp for Smile#3” by Ajinomoto Foundation
            Mr.Etsuhiro Takato and Mr.Phichien Koosmith, Vice Chairman of Ajinomoto Foundation, together with Ajinomoto Foundation Directors, donated 3.2 MB  (3,200,000 baht) and some products to the representative students in order to support “Building Camp for Smile#3” project, which will be further spent for the building construction in rural area nationwide.          Gyoza, Japanese Dumpling (pork&chicken) Gyoza, the original Japanese style dumpling stuffed with pork and chicken meat mashed with vegetables and seasonings to make the savory taste for this appetizer menu. Wrapping with soft dough sheet in Japanese style, the dumplings can be cooked in many ways you like such as Japanese style fried, deep fried, or boiled. Cooking preparation methods: Method 1 Put one table spoon of oil on a pan and uses high heat. Then put frozen dumplings in the pan and fry for 1 minute by using high heat. Pour a cup of water (60 ml) down in the hot pan and close the lid for 4 minutes with medium heat. After that, open the lid and leave it for 1 minute until the water in the pan is evaporated. Method 2 Deep fry the frozen dumplings in temperature of 170°C - 180°C for 3 minutes.
