11. “Ajinomoto Foundation” delivers new canteens worth 1 million Baht to carry on “50 Years : 50 Schools” project
  On January 24, 2011, Mr.Sakol  Khemapak, Adviser to the Minister, and  Mr. Thongchai Dhammasukati, Deputy Governor of Kamphaeng Phet, were honorably invited to preside over “The 1st& 2nd Canteen Opening Ceremony’” under “50 years 50 schools” Project at Wat Sawang Arom School, Khanu Woralaksaburi District, Kamphaeng Phet. The project is one of the corporate CSR pathways under the responsibility of “Ajinomoto Foundation.”  Mr.Sonthi Ampaichitt, Vice Chairman, was a representative to deliver these two new canteens worth 1, 000,000 Baht to Mr. Chairat  Sirinwong, Director of Wat Sawang Arom School, and Mr.Jatupume  Prapat, Director of Baan Pluk Mai Dhum School, as the construction of these two canteens were firstly accomplished.  The “50 Years: 50 Schools” project was initiated to celebrate the 50 years Anniversary of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. and has the target to build the new canteen for schools that lack the financial support or short of supplies for 50 schools all around the country.  The schools are selected by Office of The Basic Education Commission (OBEC) from Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ajinomoto Foundation will provide 500,000 baht budget (five hundred thousands baht) for each school, which is at the total amount of 25 million Baht. The purpose of the provision is to promote good nutrition and good health of Thai students for better learning efficiency.  The project began since the academic year of 2010 and is expected to finish within 5 years in 2015, which is to follow the social contribution mindset on the 50th anniversary that says “Ajinomoto always grow with Thais.”...
12. “Ajinomoto with INMU” hosts a reception dinner to welcome scientists from Japan
        Associate Professor Dr. Visith Chavasit, Director of INMU, joins hands with Mr. Kagefumi Nagao, Vice President of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd to host a reception dinner to welcome scientists and lecturers from Japan, led by Professor Takashi Sasano from Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry and Director of Tohoku University Dental Hospital.  The purpose is to strengthen the collaboration among scientists and lecturers who help establish "Sensory Science for Better Nutrition", which is the first course in Thailand at Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University. Ajinomoto Groups of companies supported 90,000$ (about 2,700,000 Baht) in this collaboration and expected to solve malnutrition and promote good life quality of Thai people.         The reception is held at Linfa restaurant, The Sukosol Hotel, Sri Ayutthaya Road.   “Ajinomoto Cooking Club” led by Mr. Tetsuya Nakano and Mr. Suchart Narksavaek, Managing Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. welcome Dr. Ngampit Lawakorn Deputy Director of the Bureau of secondary education Service Area Office 1, Ms. Treesukon Jitsanguan, Director of Sri Ayudhya School, along with other 40 Japanese language teachers  from 35 schools under Japanese Resource Instruction Center, to join Japanese cooking class in order to study Japanese cultures and lifestyles about Japan and be able to pass on this knowledge to other students. 14. First Umami seminar of 50 Executive Chefs nationwide
  Ajinomoto Co. (Thailand) Ltd. led by Mr. Masato Kohtani; Director and Thai Chef Association led by Chef Jamnong Nirangsan; Chairman jointly hosted the exclusive seminar for 50 Executive Chefs from renown hotels nationwide. We can say that it is the first time of gathering as many Executive chefs in the seminar like this. The seminar has been organized in order to educate Umami and Glutamate knowledge under the concept of “Umami!  Flavoring Experience The Professional” on 29 - 30 November 2010 at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel.We were honored by Mr. Eugene Imm; a representative of Umami Information Center (UIC), Japan to be our special guest speaker. Moreover, all chefs had a chance to visit Nhong Kae factory to see production process of “Ros Dee” product before ending this seminar. Not only the seminar and activities that impressed chefs, but also the new knowledge and friendship they have got.             All chefs backed home and will apply the Umami knowledge to create Thai Umami recipe with their own style to be gathered for production of the first Umami cookbook in Thailand for further perusal in Food and Nutrition related fields. ...

16. Ajinomoto Foiundation presents the scholarship for studying the Master's degree at Tokyo university, Japan
  Mr.Etsuhiro Takato (4th from left), Vice Chairman of Ajinomoto Foundation joined the scholarship presentation ceremony under "Ajinomoto Scholarship for ASEAN International Students" project of the 2015. The scholar was Ms.Kulanuch Chutisemachai graduated from Faculty of Engineering of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. She is the 6th scholar who was selected to receive the scholarship for study at the Graduate School of the Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo University in Japan. 18. "OBEC" hands AJINOMOTO to select the needy 10 schools nationwide
  Dr. Chinnapat  Bhumirat, Secretary-General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) received the donation fund at amount of 5,000,000 Baht (Five Million Baht) from Ajinomoto Foundation led by Mr. Sonthi Ampaichitt, Vice Chairman,  together with Dr.Arun Predeedilok, Director and Mr.Masato Kohtani, Director and Secretary.          Gyoza, Japanese Dumpling (pork&chicken) Gyoza, the original Japanese style dumpling stuffed with pork and chicken meat mashed with vegetables and seasonings to make the savory taste for this appetizer menu. Wrapping with soft dough sheet in Japanese style, the dumplings can be cooked in many ways you like such as Japanese style fried, deep fried, or boiled. Cooking preparation methods: Method 1 Put one table spoon of oil on a pan and uses high heat. Then put frozen dumplings in the pan and fry for 1 minute by using high heat. Pour a cup of water (60 ml) down in the hot pan and close the lid for 4 minutes with medium heat. After that, open the lid and leave it for 1 minute until the water in the pan is evaporated. Method 2 Deep fry the frozen dumplings in temperature of 170°C - 180°C for 3 minutes.
