AjiPanda Well-Being LAB: Sharing Knowledge on Food and Nutrition for “Eat Well, Live Well.”

A good meal is about more than nutritional value. It should also be delicious, appealing, and contribute to people’s overall well-being.
Ajinomoto hosted the “Well-Being Workshop” as part of the “AjiPanda Well-Being LAB,” creating a learning space for dietitians and nutrition professionals to exchange knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on food and nutrition. The workshop also introduced practical approaches to creating meals that bring together great taste, nutritional value, and well-being.
The workshop builds on our belief that “meals” are one of the starting points of well-being. By combining Ajinomoto’s expertise in food, nutrition, and the science of amino acids, or “AminoScience” with the expertise of nutrition professionals, the workshop aims to support participants in applying and further developing their knowledge to help care for people through everyday meals.
During the workshop, participants gained knowledge through both educational sessions and hands-on activities. Topics covered the science of taste and umami, which contributes to the deliciousness and appeal of food, as well as food presentation and decoration techniques. Participants also learned more about “AminoScience” the science of amino acids that Ajinomoto continues to advance to create value and support people’s well-being.
Another key element of the workshop was collaborative learning through the exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives on food and nutrition. Together, participants explored ways to develop meals without having to choose between “health” and “taste,” but instead finding a balance where both can come together in a single meal.
The “AjiPanda Well-Being LAB” reflects Ajinomoto’s commitment to connecting our expertise in food with professionals who play an important role in caring for people. Together, we aim to transform “knowledge” into “meals,” and “meals” into “well-being.”
Because we believe that well-being can start with a “meal.” When knowledge is shared and further developed, it can create positive change for people and contribute to a society where everyone can “Eat Well, Live Well.” every day.
