“Ajinomoto” fortifies Thai Volleyball Athletes with Sports Nutrition
Ajinomoto has long been contributing to food and nutrition development in Thailand. Recently, the company officially signed the sponsorship agreement with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) to provide monetary support and “amino Vital®”- amino acid conditioning products for sport supplements, to national Thai Volleyball athletes worth 12 Million Baht in total for 3 years to use during the tournaments as from 2018 onwards. The support is aimed to flourish performance of Thai volleyball team in achieving highest record both domestic and international competitions. The sponsorship signing ceremony was held at Parichart Room, Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel, Bangkok, signed by Mr. Kaoru Kurashima, the President of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., and Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, the President of Thailand Volleyball Association.

With its tremendous success results, the Ajinomoto Group has been expanding nutrition supports by sponsoring the global sport events i.e. the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil, the 2017 SEA Games and the ASEAN Para Games in Malaysia as well as the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan. As for Thailand, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd started sports nutrition support since 2017 by providing amino Vital® product to support Thai national volleyball athletes during 2017 Volleyball World Grand Prix tournament, further by official sponsoring to the TVA this year. The signing agreement this time is to reinforce the company’s intention in contributing to the good diet of athletes to level up performance and flourish their goals to be able to challenge higher ranking in the future tournaments such as National Volleyball League, 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines as well as 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.”
