Ajinomoto joins forces with Yuthasar Na Nagara Foundation and Thailand Management Association (TMA) to support the knowledge of sustainability creation for students under the “Chicken Run Camp for Young Business Leaders : ESG 2023” project

            Recently, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., a leading food company in Thailand that places great importance on driving our business towards sustainability, joined as a special guest speaker under the “Chicken Run Camp for Young Business Leaders : ESG 2023” project for new generation students, conducted by Yuthasar Na Nagara Foundation and Thailand Management Association (TMA). The company aimed to deliver business knowledge and expertise while fostering global sustainability in accordance with ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) principles, which is a business concept that takes into account responsibility in 3 main aspects: Environmental, Social, and Governance sustainably. Ajinomoto would like to be a part in supporting the younger generation to play a significant role in developing businesses that will enhance people's quality of life and become a driving force in the advancement of society and the country in the future.

            Mr. Sornchai Kusonjai, Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., also provided the integration concept of “The Ajinomoto Group Creating Shared Value (ASV)” under the lecture titled “Ajinomoto and Sustainable Business Operations and Responding to ESG” to share environmentally friendly business practices in order to achieve effective resource and energy management and reduce the occurrence of waste at every stage of operation, including lowering greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) constantly. In addition, Ajinomoto has organized a cooking workshop for the students with the menu "Spaghetti Gochujang Sauce with Crispy Shrimp", which promotes the concept of sustainability and saving the world by utilizing every part of the ingredients to create food without producing any waste to help reduce “Food Loss & Food Waste” and lower greenhouse gas emissions by 126.5 gCO2e while offering a delicious taste and proper nutritional benefits as well. These are in accordance with our company's intention to improve people's health and quality of life, along with our mission of "Leading in the Creation of Well-Being".
