Ajinomoto Honored with Carbon Footprint Certification from TGO, Reinforcing Its Commitment to a Low-Carbon and Sustainable Future

Recently, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. together with Ajinomoto Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd. received the Carbon Label Certification from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO. This recognition reflects the company’s strong commitment to conducting business while simultaneously reducing environmental impacts and restoring ecosystems through tangible reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The certification ceremony was held at the Conference Hall, Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), Bangkok.

On this occasion, the Pathum Thani Factory and the Birdy Factory were awarded the Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) certification, while the Pathum Thani Factory and Kamphaeng Phet Factory received the Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) certification. These achievements mark another important milestone in the company’s Net Zero Pathway, reinforcing continuous improvement in production processes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across all dimensions. This progress is aligned with Ajinomoto’s goal of achieving Carbon Neutrality and ultimately Net Zero emissions by 2050.

This accomplishment highlights Ajinomoto’s dedication to advancing its corporate vision under the concept of “The Ajinomoto Group Creating Shared Value (ASV),” which not only focuses on delivering high-quality food products but also emphasizes sustainable business growth alongside environmental conservation and resource stewardship, as well as contributing to solutions for climate change.
