Ajinomoto Joins SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games 2025 Torch Relay, Inspiring Thais to Support National Athletes as an Official Gold Sponsor

On November 16, 2025, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. participated in the official torch relay to invite everyone to cheer for the Thai national team and all athletes competing in the 33rd SEA Games and 13th ASEAN Para Games, which Thailand will be the host nation from this December to January 2026. 

On this occasion, Mr. Daizaburo Koga, Managing Director, led a team of executives and employees from Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., Ajinomoto Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Wan Thai Foods Industry Co., Ltd. to join the torch relay point 40 in Bangkok. The team ran from the front of Nimibutr Stadium along Banthat Thong Road to the Chula Centenary Park—an area known for its many popular restaurants. This route reflects Ajinomoto’s commitment to supporting Thai athletes’ nutrition through the “Thailand Victory Project” and its “Winning Meals” since 2018 under the belief that “Victory starts in the kitchen,” as good nutrition helps prepare the body and contributes to athletic success.

At relay point 41, from Chula Centenary Park to Chula Soi 9, renowned runner Ms. Dheema Tongsiri also joined the torch relay, accompanied by rising star runners from aminoVITAL and Ajinomoto employees throughout the route.

The atmosphere of the torch relay was filled with unity and strong team spirit, as employees from all locations came together to support the event, forming energetic cheering sections along the way to boost morale for the athletes preparing for the upcoming SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games.

The 33rd SEA Games will be held from 9–20 December 2025 in Bangkok, Chonburi, and Songkhla, while the 13th ASEAN Para Games will take place from 20–26 January 2026 in Nakhon Ratchasima. Everyone is invited to follow the competitions and continue supporting the Thai national athletes in these major sporting events together.
