 “Ajinomoto” joins forces with the “Tokyo SME Support Center” to enhance the green growth strategy, creating well-being and happiness, driving Thai businesses towards sustainability.

Recently, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. joined hands with the Tokyo SME Support Center and the Institute of Global Environmental Strategies to organize an event titled “Carbon Footprint Strategy and Latest Eco-Packaging Trends from Japan.” Mr. Sireethus Saovaro, a representative for company sustainability, served as the speaker for SMEs and startups in the food industry. The event attracted interest from entrepreneurs in both Thailand and Tokyo, Japan businesses participating. The event took place at Room 2C, The Grand Center Point Terminal 21 Hotel, Bangkok.

The event "Carbon Footprint Strategy and Latest Eco-Packaging Trends from Japan" is organized to promote knowledge and understanding of environmental sustainability. This encompasses strategies and the importance of addressing global climate change, including within Japan. It includes approaches to reduce greenhouse gases with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality, enhancing vision and business strategies to meet Net Zero goals, as well as carbon management strategies in the food supply chain, food waste management, eco-packaging technologies, and packaging trends for export products.

“At the event, various types of eco-packaging examples in the food industry are showcased, including successful products from Ajinomoto Thailand that contribute to creating sustainable well-being and happiness in Thai society. Attendees, including entrepreneurs, are invited to experience and explore these products.”
