Ajinomoto Teams Up with SAT and the BAT to Boost Nutrition for Thai Athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games
Bangkok, 17 July 2024: Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., a global leader in the creation of ‘Eat Well, Live Well’ lifestyles, has announced its partnership with the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT)and the Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT). This collaboration aims to support the comprehensive nutrition of Thai national badminton athletes and the Thai national team in preparation for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. An investment of four million baht will fund Thailand Victory Project, which focuses on comprehensive nutritional care while promoting health and boosting the energy of athletes through sports nutrition and innovative products based on AminoScience.
Ms.Jidapa Srichavana, Registered Dietician of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., said, “For over six years, Ajinomoto (Thailand) has been driving Thailand Victory Project, leveraging our expertise in AminoScience and the delicious taste of umami to maximize the potential of Thai athletes. Building on the project's success, this year, we have invested over four million baht to support Thai athletes. We are proud to announce our partnership with the Badminton Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (BAT) to ensure that Thai national badminton athletes receive complete nutrition and satisfaction through the preparation of the ‘Winning Meal.’ This initiative enhances nutrition for badminton athletes over one full year and provides comprehensive online and onsite nutrition education, emphasizing the benefits of amino acids in meals through our product, aminoVITAL™, an energy gel containing amino acids. Additionally, we are committed to supporting three talented badminton players: Gift-Jongkolphan Kititharakul, View-Rawinda Prajongjai, and May-Supanida Katethong. Our focus is on using sports nutrition as a cornerstone for their performance planning, continuously monitoring and analyzing appropriate nutrition for each athlete. We are also excited to announce our collaboration with the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), providing aminoVITAL™ products to promote good nutrition for over 70 Thai athletes as they prepare to compete in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.”

Gift-Jongkolphan Kititharakul, a badminton athlete for the Thai national team, said, “Nutrition is the main factor that enables our bodies to respond well and with quality to training. As badminton players, we need to use our bodies intensively during both practice and competition. Therefore, effective training, supported by strong physical and mental health, self-love, and a focus on proper nutrition, is essential for our performance.” View-Rawinda Prajongjai, also a badminton athlete for the Thai national team, added, “Eating the right and adequate food during training can significantly enhance an athlete's efficiency and have a huge impact on competition performance.”
