Ajinomoto launches “Life is Full of Amino Acids” campaign to educate Thais about amino acids and their health benefits

Bangkok, 4 December 2023 – Ajinomoto, leading global company with the specialties in amino acids as its foundation leading to the business of food and wellness, has launched an educational campaign “Life is Full of Amino Acid” with an aim to educate Thai citizens about the importance of amino acids for human health and their crucial functions in daily life. This initiative is in response to the company's recently adopted vision, Leading in Creation of Our Well-Being along with the slogan of ‘Eat Well, Live Well’.

The "Life is Full of Amino Acids" campaign was inspired by the facts that most Thai people are not aware of the existence of amino acids around us even though amino acids themselves are crucial for all living things on earth and how the knowledge about amino acids can contribute to their health since amino acids support the fundamental of healthy living such as eating, sleeping and exercising.

Mr. Ichiro Sakakura, President of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. said that “Amino acids are the source of all living things on earth, and Ajinomoto Group has been studying them since its founding over 100 years ago. We have compiled all of the knowledge, technologies, research and development we have learned about amino acids and called it 'AminoScience' leading to our various kinds of business. By 2030, we seek to extend the healthy life expectancy of one billion people. We believe that by sharing our expertise in AminoScience through the 'Life is Full of Amino Acids' campaign, we shall accomplish our ultimate goal of contributing to the well-being of all human beings, our society, and our planet, of which aligns with our new slogan 'Eat Well, Live Well'."

The first phase of the "Life is Full of Amino Acids" campaign will begin in December 2023 and will consist of a series of content related to amino acids in our daily lives, with a focus on amino acids as essential nutrition for two main target groups in need of amino acids: the elderly and athletes. The contents will be communicated through multiple platforms, including Ajinomoto Thailand and partnerships with prominent KOLs and media in Thailand, with each KOL and media portraying surprising facts about amino acids and their health benefits in their own unique styles.
